Today, Prairie employs 1,100 professionals in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin and we are currently looking for a part time Customer Service Representative to join our very successful and hardworking team!  The ideal candidate will be a self starter able to work independently, show great attention to detail, be thorough and organized and able to be flexible to handle a variety of challenging and routine tasks. This position is part time (20 – 30 hours/week) temporary, with a potential for becoming full time. Summary: To provide prompt, efficient customer service and coordinate the needs of the customer with the availability of the company’s product and fleet.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Answering incoming customer calls. Taking, and inputting orders into the computer system. Assisting customers with problems. Coordinating the customers delivery needs with our fleet availability.   Supervisory Responsibilities:    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.                                               Education and/or Experience:                                              High School Diploma and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Physical Demands:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
