Student Loan Processor
The Manpower Group is looking for a strong Financial Services professional. There are multiple openings available and the hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00PM. This is a 4 month project paying $22.50 an hour. The location is in Dedham, MA. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS JOB REQUIRES EXPERIENCE IN THE FINANCIAL SERVICES FIELD SUCH AS BANKING, MORTGAGES OR LOAN PROCESSING. THIS IS ASSISTING WITH STUDENT LOAN ADMINISTRATION. CALL CENTER EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS. Here is an overview of the job description Responsible for providing high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests and performing clerical functions. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. 2-4 years experience required. Skills and Competencies: Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one time. Ability to keep information organized and confidential. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work. Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents. File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports. Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails. Prepare responses to correspondence containing routing inquiries. Perform other duties as assigned. This position is located in the Student Loans-Private Processing department. This department handles incoming calls in regards to Education finance loans, this contract will be throughout the peak processing time period for this dept. The contractor will be responsible to take incoming calls on application status, technical calls in regards to the application itself, and electronic signatures. The contractor will also be responsible for promoting and proceeding with over the phone applications. This position will require someone who can problem solve, troubleshoot, and think through a problem Skills: Call Center experience Ability to use Outlook email Experience in financial mortgage, or banking is a plus Mature, dependable, articulate Candidate must have excellent verbal communication skills and proven experience with problem resolution. Experience in phone sales is also a plus
