HR Business Systems Analyst
Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an HR Business Systems Analyst with a leading semiconductor company in Santa Clara. This is a 6 + month contract position. Key Responsibilities: • Data warehouse project experience required Work closely with the business to understand business requirements and execute them through successful implementation • Partner closely with HR PM to manage Workday reporting updates • Deliver Reporting and analytics solutions appropriate to meet the needs of internal customers (ad hoc reporting tools, standard reports, executive dashboards etc.) • Manage projects end to end; ensure coverage of all facets of testing, and a successful end-user experience • Participate in projects to ensure reporting requirements are met. Invents creative solutions to support the workforce analytics needs of the business • Work with IT on overall design and deployment • Perform complex data analysis and reporting from various HR systems • Lead and perform testing; work closely with HR and IT to validate data accuracy • Build and deliver training, assist with user documentation and change management efforts • Provide functional expertise for system issues and resolution with functional end users • Maintain application security and conduct quarterly SOX and other audit • Define and develop key performance metrics and ensure dashboards, analytics, and reports are providing value from a decision support perspective • Assist in the establishment of a Data/Report Governance and best practices and procedures for Business Intelligence tools and architecture • Provide an outside-in view on workforce analytics and maintains an external network for benchmarking and best practices • Streamline processes that enhance operational efficiencies of HR systems’ user groups. Automate processes where possible Qualifications • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Management Information Systems with 5+ years of experience of business/systems analyst work with focus on HR Business/Workforce Intelligence • Experience with Workday or Peoplesoft • Functional knowledge of HR and ability to translate business requirements to functional/technical requirements • Experience with Success Factors, Taleo and Microsoft Business Intelligence or other BI applications desirable • Experience with Use Case modeling and AGILE development methodology • Expert in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Strong consultative skills and the ability to build relationships with HR and cross-functional partners • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment • Understanding of end-to-end business process • Technical acumen to be able to execute the lifecycle of the requirement/project • Ability to learn quickly and work within tight deadlines; self-starter; must take personal initiative and willingly assume responsibility and ownership • Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Knowledge of SQL, query, reporting and OLAP tools • Knowledge of dimensional data modeling, query development and database design skills If you are interested in this opportunity or other opportunities available through Adecco Engineering and Technical, please apply online or email directly to Julie.McClung@AdeccoNA.com The Adecco Group is a Fortune Global 500 company and the global leader in HR services.
