3rd Line Support Technician
My client is a leading financial services company in Edinburgh that is in need of a support engineer that will operate in a 3rd line capacity. The role is a contract position for a minimum of 6 months. The role would be to provide technical support to internal employees in order to support them with server, application, desktop and hardware problems as well as providing a point of escalation for the team of the 2nd level support. As well as having technical skills you will also be a good team player, personal and be a good communicator in order to bring across your ideas. Experience and Technical attributes: Expert in operation and management of routers and Switches. Formal technical qualifications Expert using Windows servers Network diagnostic tools Good technical support experience within an IT support team. Experienced working in a 3rd line support role. LAN and WAN Active Directory
