Business Analyst - Insurance - 6 Month Contract My client in currently looking for a Business Analyst for a 6month+ project based 1 hour from Dublin. This will be for an online insurance project for a global insurance company. Key Responsibilities for the Senior Business Analyst: • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits and other appropriate techniques. • Work diplomatically with stakeholders to distinguish business problems and opportunities from perceived solution. • Analyse, define and manage requirements using appropriate techniques. • Work with Development teams and Product Owners to support BAU development. • Work with Stakeholders and Technical Architects to develop concepts, define value-add solutions and produce business cases. • Shape business concepts into potential programmes of work and present them to the initial governance review. • Support the department in strategic leadership. Skills and Attributes • Knowledge of software development methodologies • Has successfully worked in development environment. • Requirement gathering skills including workshop facilitation. • Experience of requirement analysis, definition and management techniques including UML. • Proven Experience of Business Analysis on bespoke o Online / e-Commerce projects. • Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. • Ability to define the Business Analysis tasks required to achieve the project objective and to carry them out without supervision or input. • Ability to constructively challenge requests and suggestions to identify the real problem or opportunity. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
