Our client, located in Downey, California, is seeking an Instructional Designer/Trainer. The scope of this project will include an OPPR project and Outpatient Pharmacy Pims Replacement. Candidates will be going to different pharmacies to train pharmacy staff on the new system. Daily travel will be required. Candidates must be able to travel both inside and outside of California. Responsibilities: * Data entry * Training * Problem solving, showing current employees the system and train * Provides technical training and curriculum development for the organization * Conducts training programs * Writes course materials and develops training plans * Works with management to determine training goals Qualifications: * 2-5 years experience in training systems health care experience preferred * Excellent communication and presentation skills, good organizational skills * Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and need to be able to work in a union environment * Excellent customer service skills and proficiency in data entry * AA preferred or equivalent experience * Very experienced in MS Office products * Experience Level: 3-6 Years * Skill Set: Instructional design; needs assessment and analysis; curriculum development; formative, summative and program evaluation; standup training; and technical writing
