The Computer Software Engineer will develop embedded software applications in C++ in a Linux environment and participate on product development teams. Main Duties: * Development of software products by writing, testing, and documenting code (75%) * Generate technical requirements and processes (15%) * Provide guidance and training to other functional groups as needed (5%) The successful Computer Software Engineer applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field * Three (3) to 5 years of experience with developing embedded applications for Linux * Three (3) to 5 years of experience with C++ programming * Three (3) to 5 years of experience working with C programming * Experience with compilers (GCC, etc.), debuggers (GDB, etc.), bug-tracking (ClearQuest, etc.) and source code management tools (ClearCase or similar) is required * This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity in Melbourne, Florida
