My client provides handling solutions for clients in the food processing, pharmaceutical, and chemical and numerous other industries. They design, develop and manufacture their own solutions based on client requests. One area they look to produce is powder processing machinery. The Role You will be responsible for delivering product designs which meet the customer's needs and also be looking to prototype designs to project deadlines. You are required to take a design from concept all the way through to completion. A strong understanding of 2D and 3D CAD systems is essential for this role as you will be working on designing equipment. The Candidate You will be an experienced design engineer who has a strong background and experience in the mechanical industry. It would be ideal if you had experience of machinery design in a structural steelwork industry. Previous experience of Automation of process equipment is desirable due to the nature of the work you will be looking to work on. The ideal candidate will have experience of bespoke designs to fit and suit customer requirements. Previous experience of AutoCAD software is essential for this role.
