SharePoint 2010 Administrator Atlanta, GA CCCi is seeking a SharePoint 2010 Administrator to provide consultation and comprehensive support for a large MOSS 2010 Shared Farm. This is comprised of Development, User Acceptance, and Production tiers, all running SHAREPOINT 2010. UA and Prod Servers are clustered for High Availability and a Disaster Recovery environment is supported using SQL Log Shipping via Quest LiteSpeed. SharePoint 2010 Administrator Responsibilities: - Closely coordinate with Server Support Analyst, DBA, Enterprise Storage and other Support roles as appropriate to maintain the health of the environment and address life cycle and maintenance needs. - Ongoing monitoring and response to issues affecting performance and reliability - Consultation with SME?s, Business Users, and Developers to advise and troubleshoot issues with solutions or recommendations for resolutions of business needs. - Perform maintenance and troubleshooting for Performance, Administration and Configuration of SharePoint 2010 in a clustered environment with Log Shipping Disaster Recovery SharePoint 2010 Administrator Educational Requirements: - BS strongly preferred. Major in Computer Science, or other technical field preferred. SharePoint 2010 Administrator Experience Requirements: - Relevant experience working with n-tiered applications and networking is required - Solid history of Windows based server administration on high availability systems, and extensive experience with SharePoint 2010 Server software - Experience with Windows and SQL Server 2008 R2 and the associated suite of products: - Solid understanding of SharePoint system Administration is needed for this position, with the candidate having several years experience administering IIS & .Net web applications. - Clustering Experience, Supporting Web Applications and MSMQ 4.0 - SharePoint production support - Monitoring (SCOM-like support) - Problem resolution - Performance (primarily analysis) - Multi-server environment - Needs to possess traits of a "teacher" ? effective documentation and mentoring skills required - Succinct in communication yet precise (not vague) - Structured, consistent approach to challenges and problems - Experience working in a large multi-organization company - Experience supporting vendor applications is desired - Reporting Services, Integration Services, etc., is desired Other: Candidate must be available for after hours on-call support.
