Clinical Systems Analyst II
Our client in Miami is in need of a Clinical Systems Analyst for a Contract-to-Perm role. The Level II Clinical Systems Analyst is expected to meet the responsibilities of the Level I in addition to being able to provide expertise in problem determination, evaluation, and solution. Develops and coordinates comprehensive test plans. Codes and modifies software modules as necessary. The ideal candidate will have: Powerchart Ambulatory implementation/support experience preferred, will also consider Carenet implementation/support experience. Build experience around Orders, Tasks, Powerforms is required. Build experience around event set hierarchy, charges, depart process, eprescribe, powernotes is desired. Understanding of integration between Registration, Scheduling, Charges, Ambulatory, and CPOE is desired. Office workflow knowledge and experience with workflow optimization is desired. Minimum Job Requirements 5 years experience designing, implementing, and supporting clinical application systems. 5 years experience in Information Systems development, implementation and support. 5 years hands-on experience in clinical system configuration, design, implementation and administration. Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or a related major or at least 5 years experience in Information Technology in a technical role. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Demonstrate sound analytical skills in evaluation of client needs. Practical experience with project delivery and systems development life cycles. UNIX shell programming skills and knowledge of AIX or Windows Server skills and knowledge. Working knowledge of HL7 and custom interface products. CERNER BUILDER EXPERIENCE needed. Working knowledge of one or more programming languages/ reporting systems, including COBOL, .NET Java, XML, SQL, Crystal Reports Proficiencies Assists in the documentation of systems policies and procedures as well as training materials. -Codes and modifies software modules as necessary. - Completes assignments within project deadlines and completes work according to project schedules including: assists in the development of project schedules, resource estimates, and work schedules, prepares project status reports for the Manager, Clinical Systems, and monitors project progress and updates project tracking system. -Develops and coordinates comprehensive test plans. -Evaluates, designs, codes, tests, and implements custom or vendor supplied systems software to effectively respond to the business and clinical requirements of CLIENT. -Maintains production systems to ensure reliable performance, appropriate change management and security. -Provides functional and technical guidance to assigned personnel on a project basis including: scheduling, monitoring, review of systems studies and project and program Please email your resume to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org for immediate consideration.
