Product System Engineer
Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a full time Product System Engineer opportunity with a leading company in Park Ridge, NJ. Position: Product System Engineer, Specialty Solutions-Engineering Responsibilities: As scrum team member the Product System Engineer contributes to the delivery of key QMS deliverables for NPI or Design Change Projects. The PSE sees to it that traceability of requirements towards executed test cases is established during the development life cycle, to achieve this PSE will work closely with the Lead System Designer, Engineers and Product Owners. The Product System Engineer ensures that all deliverables adhere to the GEHC QMS and advocates a quality culture across engineering and cross-functions. Product System Engineer responsibilities include: Lead Design traceability process (from requirement to executed test cases) and publish traceability reports as part of a program team, in accordance with GEHC IT design controls work instructions. Update and maintain the product's Design History Files regularly in-line with product changes. Deliver or contribute to QMS related deliverables, including design traceability, design output classification, and quality and regulatory documentation. Prepare supporting documentation for sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, formal design reviews and quality/compliance audits. Initiate and institutionalize process improvements. Serve as a quality SME and advocate within program and functional teams. Provide status communications to program and business teams. Contribute to the implementation of newly introduced QMS processes. Assist in program audits. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors Degree with 3 years experience in Engineering, Service, Manufacturing, Quality/Regulatory or related operations; OR Associates Degree with 5+ years experience in Engineering, Service, Manufacturing, Quality, or related operations. Proven understanding/experience with the New Product Introduction (NPI) cycle. Demonstrated analytical techniques and ability to make recommendations to technical and program leadership to improve the product, process or technology and present ideas clearly and concisely. Strong knowledge of quality metrics in addition to project metrics tools and processes. Knowledge of requirements and test management tools like Quality Center. Knowledge of Agile Development methodology Desired Characteristics: Software development and testing experience Knowledge of V model' product development. Experience and knowledge of Standards for developing medical devices (eg IEC 62304 SDLC) Able to function both independently as well as in a scrum team. Demonstrated experience with creation and delivery of Quality Records. Strong ability to build lasting cross-functional relationships, including excellent influential and communication skills. Multitasking ability to drive critical issues simultaneously.
