In this role you will: -Work in a Data Center environment -install and patch OS, DNS, Network setup, User Account management, handle backups -Automate tasks through Perl Scripting -Manage networking and enterprise systems architecture -Handle systems monitoring Qualifications: -Data center experience: Rack and stack, install and patch OS, DNS, network setup, user account management, backups, system security -Experience performing production hardware and operating system support for UNIX / Linux systems. Preferably Solaris / Redhat -UNIX and application troubleshooting and problem resolution skills. -Knowledge of networking and enterprise systems architecture. -Knowledge of multi-tiered web-based application design and architectures. -Experience automating repetitive tasks through shell or Perl scripting. -Experience with system and application monitoring tools such as Nagios or SiteScope. -Bachelors degree in related discipline -Must be willing to support after-hours work
