Commisioning Manager - 3 Months - North London My Public Sector client are urgently looking for an SEN Commisioning Manager to join the team on an initial 3 month contract. This is a contract likely to extend The commisioning manager will be responsible for undertaking the commissioning and contracting of all residential and independent day school placements achieving continual best value and cost reductions - c150 children To undertake the above in conjunction with multiple projects To ensure stronger quality assurance and monitoring processes for all out of borough placements To be involved in collective cost reduction negotiations with existing placements, working with CRT, SENAS, London Councils and the WLA. To support the development and implementation of a commissioning and procurement development strategy. To lead the implementation of the commissioning elements of the SEN One Council Business Case To support the development and use of a standardised contract for residential and independent day placements identifying clear outcomes along with criteria relating to cost breakdown, quality assurance and service standards.
