New Assessor and New Verifier Qualifications - Face to Face OR Elearning
We have now started enrolling candidates for the next intake the Internal Quality Assurance qualification. It is delivered online and you are able to finish it FROM 5 days depending on the time allocated study time. There is no minimum duration but the qualification is awarded when you have met the assessment criteria for each unit though we envisage duration of between 1 to 6 months for the full award (Unit 1 & 2). Unit 1 is done online though you are able to book face-to-face tutorial if you require one. Unit 2 is delivered through a blended learning mode combining face to face with E-Learning The difference between this and the predecessor (V1 Award) is that they are designed for use by anyone carrying out quality assurance of a learning activity. Unit 2 is delivered through a blended learning mode combining face to face with E-Learning This is a new suite of qualifications has been developed to support the new Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) and which replace the A1 Assessor award and related qualifications (A2 vocational assessor course). If you already have A and/or V units you won't need to re-qualify. These qualifications have been revised and conform to the requirements of the new QCF (Qualifications and Credit Framework). These qualifications are knowledge and competence-based. This means that it is linked to a person having the knowledge and the ability to competently perform a range of tasks connected with their work in their workplace. The programmes involve self-directed study, e-learning, workshops and one-to-one tutorial. The workshops/eLearning will cover the topics of the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment, how to internally assure the quality of assessment and to plan, allocate and monitor work in your own area of responsibility.
