Windows 7 Deployment Manager - 3 month contract - �300/day My client, a financial services provider in central London, is urgently seeking a contract Deployment Manager with experience in rolling out Windows 7 and MS Office 2010 ideally in a global financial services organisation. The Deployment Manager's responsibility is to coordinate the roll-out - you will report directly to the Project Manager who is in charge of planning and managing the entire project. This is NOT a hands-on technical position however you are expected to understand Windows 7 and MS Office 2010 to assist users to a 1st line level during the roll-out. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Coordinating the roll out of a new Windows 7 / MS Office 2010 OS platform on new or existing Desktop PC and laptop hardware * Coordinate User Training * Liaise with Business areas and champions * Manage the roll out and training schedule * Coordinate roll out activities with the technical deployment team * Manage roll out issues REQUIRED SKILLS: * Foundation knowledge in Windows 7, MS Office 2010, End User Computing and supporting technologies * Intermediate to advanced MS Excel 2010 skills e.g. Pivot tables, lookups, macros, etc * Good organisational skills * Effective Business Communication * Self-starter / delivery focused / high productivity INTERVIEWS will be taking place from Monday 2nd July.
