Underground Mine Planning Engineer - Perth
This large WA operation require an experienced Underground Planning Engineer to join the team in the corporate office in this newly created role This company are looking to increase production from 300,000 to 500,000oz per annum in the next 18 months. New ground is being drilled and mines are being planned, they have strong vision and values and believe in developing all staff to their maximum potential. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager your duties will include: Mine Planning and designs. Review of site schedules and updated designs with key customers. Handover of levels to site engineers for implementation. Generate reserve reports. Assessments of alternate mining methods. Assessment of ore bodies for underground potential. Qualifications and experience required: Tertiary qualification as a Mining Engineer Demonstrated experience with mine planning software Experience in opencut and underground mining highly advantageous 2-5 years experience in a similar role Fantastic remuneration is on offer here, as well as all the benefits you can have with a global organisation, you will work and live the best facilities when on site and have a clear path for you career mapped out by the management team.
