ORACLE DEVELOPER / DBA REQUIREMENT # 12-00291 RECRUITER: CHERYL AMBROSE JOB LOCATION: EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ JUNE 25, 2012 ** MUST BE U.S. CITIZEN ** Project Description: Responsible for Oracle database development, architecture, administration, and production support services. The primary responsibilities include: - Work closely with business staff to understand their needs and analyze/document the requirements and solutions - Design/development of new or existing schemas - Design/development of business logic within stored procedures - Manage database capacity planning, failure analysis and recovery procedures for all production databases - Analyze and document existing database designs and schemas. Required Skills: - Experience in development, testing, and implementation of Oracle software. - Extensive experience with data modeling and logical/physical design, and modeling/design tools such as CA ERwin. - Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL programming. - Proficient in Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g, and Oracle 11g database administration/architecture in a Solaris (Unix) environment. - Experience with database tools such as SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader, Imp, Exp, and TOAD. - Knowledge of Oracle Application Server. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Must be a team player (team oriented) and willing to follow directions, as well as take initiative - Must be able to obtain a Client Public Trust Suitability. US citizenship is required Desired Skills: - Experience with Veritas Cluster Server, Veritas Volume Manager, and/or Veritas NetBackup - Scripting: Unix Shell, Perl - Full Lifecycle Project Development experience (SDLC) Education: Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relevant experience are required; the degree requirement may be substituted with an additional 4 years of experience.
