Staffing and recruiting services leader Adecco has outstanding opportunities with a prestigious Romeoville employer that has a need for a Technical Customer Service Specialist. Technical Customer Service Specialists handle incoming calls regarding specific electronics products. Ideal candidates will be professional, self-starters, able to multi-task, be independent and be able to use problem solving skills to come up with the best solution for both the customer and the company. Responsibilities Under the direction of CAC (Customer Assistance Center) managers, the Technical Customer Service Specialist is responsible for assisting customers with problems or questions concerning our clientâ€™s products (microwaves, TVâ€™s, audio units, vacuums, camcorders, air conditioners, LCD units, HDTVâ€™s). Empowered to resolve one-on-one customer complaints in a fair, equitable manner and achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction. Training includes use of complete system procedures of department, policy and negotiation options. This individual will be providing technical assistance to dealers and service technicians via hotline, fax, email for assigned products which may include, televisions, microwaves, major appliances and POS cash registers. *We are looking for individuals with experience working with computer hardware (troubleshooting, installations, etcâ€¦). Qualifications ? Minimum of 3 to 5 yrs+ Call Center experience ? Experience working with computer hardware required. ? Minimum of 1 to 2 years of technical experience and helpdesk/troubleshooting experience required. Escalated call handling a plus. ? Proficient in MS Word and Excel ? Must be able to work 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. ?
