The Crime of the Century INSURANCE
Title: The Consumer's Action Plan. Description: Not one human in the USA is unaffected by insurance and/or the claim process. The insurance industry is unlike any other product or service on earth. It survives on fear, greed and intimidating consumers in order for the titans to manage trillions of dollars in cash flow. As such, the titans of the insurance industry have managed to train, not educate 300 million consumers to do certain things that always benefit insurers far more than the consumers. Although illegal in most places, conflicts of interests abound in this unique business. The first conflict is for consumers to learn about insurance from commissioned sales agents. Risk and insurance management education should be learned from non biased sources who educate consumers not train them. Insurance companies spend several billion dollars each year on TV competing among themselves to get consumers by selling the illusions of DISCOUNT insurance which is clearly another ruse and conflict of interest. The most egregious conflict of interest is training consumers to call the insurer when they suffer a loss. Victims should never ask those who owe them money how to collect. With so much ignorance about the insurance industry, consumers are always intimidated due to the lack of their education about this money hungry business. The biggest form of intimidation is that not one insurance contract has ever been delivered with instructions on how to efficiently and fully recover from a covered loss such as a car wreck, property damage or accidents. To keep insurers in the sunshine and consumers in the dark the insurance industry has well over a 1,000 local, state, regional and national insurance associations who exist for the benefit of the executives, agents and adjusters who earn a living training consumers to buy their products and reducing the payouts in claims as much as they can. To offset this fact and to provide consumers with a place to learn how to level playing field, The Consumer's Action Plan for insurance consumers exists to level the field for consumers. The Consumer's Action Plan is a truly biased organization that exist to offset the training and overpayment consumers annually. What we need from a PR prospective. Develop and persist to publicize the value of membership in The Consumer's Action Plan. Keywords: Public Relations
