2nd Line Support (XP, Office, DELL)
Our client in Morecambe are looking for a 2nd Line IT Support engineer. The 2nd line IT Support engineer will be working on a monthly rolling contract supporting a number of users on a main site and some smaller satellite offices. This role is more face to face than telephone support taking on support issues escaled from the 1st line Helpdesk. Essential skills are skills and experience in similar roles providing 2nd line support to end users :- Microsoft Windows XP Microsoft Office 97 DELL Hardware Microsoft Outlook 97 Understanding of Blackberry, 3G issues and other telephony related support issues (Avaya/Patching support etc) The successful person need to be able to start before or on the 9th July. 80% of this role will be supporting one main site but the successful candidate must also have a car and driving licence to be able to travel to other sites on rare occasions, if this happens a generous mileage allowance is paid.CPS Group (UK) Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
