Performance Vehicles and Motorsport (FPV&M) Communications Manager
Currently we are seeking individuals for the following position: <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Performance Vehicles and Motorsport (FPV&M) Communications Manager Compensation (Hourly Range): $35.00 - 40.00 Long-term position, excellent pay and benefits, highly visible position, opportunity to become direct. Performance Vehicles and Motorsport (FPV&M) Communications Manager Skills Required to be considered: · Boost purchase consideration and favorability for Performance Vehicles and leverage Motorsport activities. Include global ST and Special Vehicle Team (SVT) products. · Emphasize Quality, Green, Safe and Smart product strengths in current Performance Vehicles and global performance products to all audiences - media, influencers, dealers, employees/retirees, suppliers and consumers · Develop and lead execution of client's Performance Vehicles and Motorsports (FPV&M) Communications planning, working with a blended team of integrated partners and in alignment with the regional (NA) and Global Product Communications teams and processes · Work closely with Marketing and PD (SVT etc) to align plans, identify opportunities, share information and leverage all assets - including people - in support of communications plans · Consistently deliver (FPV&M) vehicle stories and messages through aggressive enterprise storytelling in all key earned media channels - print, broadcast and social · Broaden the company's media profile to include more (FPV&M) exposure in non-automotive publications and venues · Support regional outreach of all (FPV&M) related communications · Co-develop and deliver sound (FPV&M) communications plans to reach all key internal stakeholders - including employees, retirees and union members - as well as U.S. dealers · Support development of (FPV&M) related materials and assets with the Communication Team's Content Factory · Serve as (FPV&M) media spokesperson for product story placements and pitching · Minimum 5 years of experience in Communications or a related field, including minimum 4 years of experience of media interaction · Strong strategy development skills · Able to manage and lead multiple programs/projects simultaneously · Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to develop press materials, presentations and pitches · Knowledge of the automotive business with an ability to develop strategies and stories around product, vehicle engineering, design, marketing - as well as quality, fuel efficiency, safety and smart technology · Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a cross-functional team · Active participation in and knowledge of social media and social networking sites and tools · Has a can-do attitude and a sense of urgency in this rapidly changing environment · Demonstrates superior influencing and negotiation skills, with internal and external contacts Continuously demonstrates superior problem-solving, decision-making and project management skills Performance Vehicles and Motorsport (FPV&M) Communications Manager Minimum Education Required: · Bachelor's degree in communications or any related field Applicant must be eligible to work in the US for immediate opening.
