_______ is a small consulting firm that specializes in strategic planning, technology roadmapping, public private partnership development, and technical communications in the energy and homeland security sectors. The current company website was designed by an employee when the company was founded. The website was designed using an original style sheet based on a basic knowledge of html and css within the Joomla content management system. Given the expansion of our company both in terms of employees, capabilities, and products we are seeking to redesign our website so both the content and visual presentation of the site can more effectively engage our target audiences of current and prospective clients from both government and the private sector, prospective employees, and companies interested in partnering with us. We wish to engage a freelance designer capable of producing a professional design with increased design elements that make the website, particularly the home page, more inviting to visitors. The design must incorporate our company colors of orange and gray in our logo, but we are open to using additional colors and fonts in the website design. The completion date of the website redesign is flexible. Internallty, we will be refocusing our existing website content and writing new content. The core structure of the website content is expected to remain relatively similar to its current state, though we hope to incorporate video and blog-type entries into our “News” page, develop a product library that showcases our company’s work and capabilities, and create a new page for each of the services and technical expertise areas on the “What We Do” page. Our current concept for the structure of our redesigned and expanded website is diagrammed below. We estimate that the website will be a base of 25 pages, with 10–15 product pages and 30 news items. Following the website redesign, the site will be maintained by employees through a content management system, ideally Joomla due to current experience, though we are open to suggestions.
