Principal Business Analyst
My Client is looking Principal/Lead Business Analyst on an initial 6 month contract based in Rickmansworth The LeadAnalyst will be responsible for coming on board and defining a strategy for a newly restructured team of Analysts currently working within their Global Transaction Services Department. The Lead will be responsible for * Redefining role profiles * Getting buy in from and communicate the new team/structure to the Company * Putting a strategy in place that moves the team to the new vision and way of working * Stop the mentality that requirements are frozen at initiation - use methods to decompose requirements or use incremental requirements definition in successive SDLC stages * Get the customer to sign off clearly documented requirements * Use an industry standard tool to capture requirements at an individual level * Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the Global Transaction Services Business Unit * Create an SDLC handbook * Work with Leads in other departments (eg Cards) to ensure that wherever possible analysis techniques and artefacts, methods and toolsets are the same and that where there is a difference it is appropriately explained, documented and agreed. Skills/Experience Required: * Exposure to multiple IT methodologies * Excellent Communication Skills * Excellent stakeholder influencing and negotiation skills * Thorough knowledge of requirements analysis disciplines and techniques * Articulate and able to communicate with external technical and business personnel * Able to provide strategic vision to ensure that activities and deliverables are appropriate and fit for purpose * Experience of implementing process and behavioural change * Significant Lead BA experience Please send CVs in the first instance
