Testing Analyst - UAT (User Acceptance Testing) (KB)
Major financial client of our is looking for a Testing Analyst - UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for a contract assignment out of their Fort Washington, PA offices location. Manager Comments: - Ideally looking for a User Acceptance Tester Analyst with a Mortgage / financial services Background Description / Role: - This position involves direct assistance in activities related to the development and implementation of large and small projects. - The User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Analyst must have a good working knowledge of the Eclipse loan origination system. - Responsible for the building of test scripts from technical and business requirements - Will execute these test scripts and coordinate with other testers and the IT Business Analysts to validate requirements are met and identify defects. - The Analyst will also provide testing feedback and coordinate fixes with IT Analysts to ensure a quality product is delivered. - The UAT Analyst is also responsible for miscellaneous other duties as periodically assigned by management related to release implementation, support and troubleshooting as well as other operational functions. Responsibilities: - Work closely with the Consumer Lending Change Council members, Change Management Business Analysts and IT Business Analysts to identify and gather the appropriate resources to complete testing from the end user perspective - Create, analyze and execute system testing requirements including the development of test plans and test scripts - Validate test conditions and review data values utilizing multiple systems & configurations - Utilize Quality Center for defect tracking and reporting - Work with UAT testers from other areas of the company when necessary - Identify usability defects from end user perspective - Manages multiple projects and work items simultaneously Requirements: - Solid leadership skills. - Displays a positive, professional image. - Strong communicator (written and verbal), able to effectively interact and coordinate with other departments, business units, and leadership. - Ability to solve problems, answer questions and maintain continuity of normal workflows despite frequent interruptions. - Mortgage industry knowledge preferred . - Self-motivated and Client service oriented. - Able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure while remaining focused. - Ability to adjust quickly and efficiently to changes in a fast paced, stressful environment. - Capable of handling multiple, complex tasks simultaneously. - Primary areas of responsibility will require a high level of knowledge regarding Mortgage products and services, policies and procedures and mortgage industry.
