We need a virtual tour app for iOS (both iPad and iPhone compatible). A virtual tour consists of one or more 3D Panoramas, linked with hotspots. A Panorama is a rendered sphere mapped with an equirectangular ?texture. A hotspot is a coordinate in that image, marked with an icon, that when is tapped it gets you to another panorama. The texture size is going to be 4096x8192 pixels. The panoramic viewer should support finger swipe rotation, as well as compass/ device orientation rotation. There should be an option to turn off the compass and navigate only by swipe. The viewer should also support zoom in/out. The tours that are going to be displayed are going to be in zip format (with modified extension) and are going to contain all the panorama images in the tour, along with an XML/JSON file that defines the hotspots in each panorama, as well as the first panorama that is going to be shown. The app should register the file format, so that it will be able to open these files from email attachments or itunes transfer. The app will consist of an initial view that will be basically a list of panoramas that are loaded in the app, and another view with the panorama renderer.
