Job Description: The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the project reporting and resource recommendations for consulting projects and other corporate projects in a team environment; serves as the primary point of contact for projects from inception to delivery; and defines and develops project management processes for the business. â€¢ Coordinates with consulting team leads and senior managers to estimate development effort, cost and project schedule for projects. â€¢ Prepares budgets and resourcing plans. â€¢ Works with project leaders to monitor and control the progress of all projects. â€¢ Coordinates with product management, information technology, product support, human resources, and business operations to ensure that the needs of the project are met. â€¢ Works with team to maintain good morale and team spirit. â€¢ Tracks project status and provides reports to teams and internal management. â€¢ Implements project methodologies. â€¢ Communicate effectively with client or management on project status or issues. â€¢ Communicate effectively with client or management when critical issues arise. â€¢ Facilitate project meetings and keep them on schedule â€¢ Provide Meeting Agendas and Summaries â€¢ Complete deliverables on schedule and/or on mutually agreed upon dates â€¢ Maintain a positive working relationship with all internal and external clients â€¢ When presented with obstacles, be able to present â€œoptionsâ€ to management and stakeholders â€¢ Consistent delivery, without reminders, of all routine reports and updates â€¢ Require minimal supervision â€¢ Evaluate and assist in or facilitate implementation of best practices, new or improved processes Job Experience: â€¢ Bachelors Degree â€¢ Optional masters degree in project management or closely related field â€¢ Project Management Methodologies â€¢ Cross Functional Teamwork â€¢ Negotiation and Conflict Management â€¢ Project Cost Management â€¢ Risk Management â€¢ Computing Environment and Operations â€¢ Excellent Communications Skills (Required) â€¢ Strong analytical and problem solving skills. â€¢ Negotiation skills. â€¢ Ability to work in a team environment. â€¢ Computer skills: office automation software, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics & presentation software.
