This position will involve functional test development and execution activities, using automated test tools for ViewE. The scope of work will generally be focused on software test engineering tasks to ensure both quality software and documentation for other testers is developed. The position requires working with a project lead and other test engineers to develop a test bed that can be used for evaluating several customer products.    Functional •    Good knowledge of software test engineering methods and tools •    Ability to debug complex issues and perform non-systematic testing to determine the root cause of issues. •    Ability to work independently with little supervision, and to prioritize and execute multiple activities in parallel. •    Ensure documented test cases and specifications validate documented testier requirements. •    Utilize automated test tools and methods to develop this new testware. •    Creative thinking in designing test scenarios and test cases and solutions to tool or programming issues; self-motivated and quick to learn new areas. Requirements •   This position requires a 4-year degree, or equivalent, preferably a Bachelor of Science in engineering or computer science.  •    Working knowledge of the software development life cycle. •    Direct experience in the use, configuration of, or technical support of automation software and hardware. •    Typically one to three years experience in Software and/or Embedded Software Testing, Software Development, Applications Engineering work, Technical Support, or other Quality Assurance role.  Desired •    Basic understanding of object oriented programming techniques. •    Familiar with Microsoft Operating System configuration and deployment •    Basic understanding of Virtualization technologies •    Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products is a plus (upload / download / ladder logic programming in RSLogix 5000) •   Basic understanding of computer networking (Ethernet addressing) If the job(s) appeal please send your resume for consideration Thanks
