Our client, located in Washington, DC, is seeking a Drupal Developer. Required Skills: Must have at least 2 years of 6.x Drupal experience Need to know how to build custom modules from scratch. PHP experience is required and a degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus Extensive experience with every technology up and down the LAMP stack (especially PHP and MySQL) . Strong experience developing Drupal modules (2+ years) Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML and other web standards Experience working with Solr and other search engines Background in traditional software development methodologies and environments Experience working on other programming languages a plus (Java, python, .NET, etc.) Comfortable working in a Linux based environment and experience troubleshooting Linux is a big plus Custom module development Third party integration Theme implementation Experience using Views, CCK, Panels, Context, Form API . Experience using Drush, Features, Aegir, Domain Access Form API Authentication Comfortable using a revision control system such as SVN/GIT Broad knowledge of Javascript/JQuery/Ajax A willingness to document your own code A passion for free and open-source technology Must be able to manage multiple projects and consistently meet project deadlines Excellent written and spoken communication skills Education/Certifications: A degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
