Application Support Analyst
Roles and Responsibilities: As a 'key' member of the FISO Global Operate Team, your primary responsibility will be the operation and support of the Firm-wide Services provided by GTI including the Message Bus and File Mover. Essential functions of the role: The successful candidate will have key responsibilities for the day to day support of services, maintenance, and upgrades across the environments - ensuring the availability and efficient operation of these mission critical Firm-wide Services Essential Skills and Requirements: The ideal candidate will be focused, driven, and want to make a difference They should be able to build relationships and influence stakeholders in a wide range of roles and levels of seniority Their communication skills are exceptional and they create an inclusive, innovative culture as well as act rationally under pressure They act with the utmost of integrity at all times and demand the same from those around them In addition to these qualities, they will have: A background in technology in the financial services sector Previous experience in an Operational Support capacity Experience in multi-site/remote team engagement Must have a strong technical background in one or more of the following technologies: UNIX / Linux SQL, specifically Oracle Integration technologies such as WebSphere MQ, Mule ESB, or equivalent Knowledge of best practices in change, problem, incident, configuration, and system health management (ITIL, etc.) In-depth knowledge on incident management through all stages; diagnose, resolve, and establish root cause to prevent further occurrences Ability to multi-task in a complex production environment and quickly acquire broad knowledge of applications Experience in testing around key deployments and business continuity exercises Experience of service delivery including definition and tracking of SLAs
