These positions will work on the project to deploy Windows 7, 64-bit, and Internet Explorer 9 throughout the Ninth District. These positions will (1) deploy new PCs with Windows 7, 64-bit, IE 9, (2) reimage and deploy existing XP machines to Windows 7, 64-bit, IE 9, (3) reimage and deploy virtual machines with Windows 7 and XP images, (4) install new network printers, and (5) install new drivers on network printers. <P style=`MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt` class=MsoNormal> <SPAN style=`FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman','serif'`> Responsibilities: <P style=`MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt` class=MsoNormal> <SPAN style=`FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman','serif'`> Perform setup, installation, configuration, and deployment of PC/laptop and printer hardware and software to business areas in accordance with local and System guidelines. These positions will take work direction from the technical lead and work individually with our client base for deployments. <P style=`MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt` class=MsoNormal> <SPAN style=`FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman','serif'`> Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves desktop, hardware, and software issues associated with these deployments. Initiates and completes outcome investigations for problems and projects as appropriate. <P style=`MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt` class=MsoNormal> <SPAN style=`FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman','serif'`> Requirements <P style=`MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt` class=MsoNormal> <SPAN style=`FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman','serif'`> Associates degree in an Information Technology related field or combination of education and related technical experience. A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and/or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) preferred. <P style=`MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt` class=MsoNormal> <SPAN style=`FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman','serif'`> Minimum 3 years of related technical support to include experience loading, configuring, deploying and troubleshooting PC and printer hardware and software. Experience with multiple Windows-based operating system platforms, specifically Windows 7, 64-bit, with Internet Explorer v9. Strong technical troubleshooting skills to include ability to resolve application incompatibility. Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate technical issues both orally and in writing. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines. Able to perform work independently and/or in a team environment. <P style=`MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt` class=MsoNormal> <SPAN style=`FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman','serif'`> Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
