CBTS is currently searching for a ColdFusion Developer. The developer is responsible for the design, development, testing, debugging, maintaining and documenting of ColdFusion Web applications in accordance to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices. Developers participate in the application technical design process and help complete estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks. The developer also communicates with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are delivered with the highest of quality and in accordance to standards. The developer strives to continuously improve the software delivery processes and practices. Essential Job Functions: Partner with appropriate teams to deliver software solutions according to SDLC best practices. Support and maintain applications utilizing required tools and technologies. Provide support for applications, including involvement with the appropriate teams. Provide off-hours support (24 x 7) as required. Test application enhancement and development changes. Establish priorities for enhancements/modifications of applications. Participate in the application technical design process. Develop functional specifications for enhancements/modifications of applications. Develop programming specifications, design, code and unit test application code. Complete estimates and work plans as appropriate for design, development, implementation and rollout tasks. Requirements: The ideal candidates should possess: ColdFusion 8 or above ColdFusion MVC Framework ColdFusion ORM – (i.e. Transfer or CF9-ORM) ColdFusion CFC’s SQL Server using T-SQL Eclipse JavaScript Knowledge of JavaScript libraries such as Jquery or EXTJS IS related associate degree, or a bachelor’s degree, or comparable work experience in an Information Systems position or related business position. Passing score on a selected entry test for new hires. (Test selected based on project requirements). Minimum of 3 years experience in systems analysis, design, programming and the associated development methodologies. Proven communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization. Ability to interact well in a team environment. Desired Skills: 3 – 5 years of experience in adjacent technologies. 4 - 6 years of experience in systems analysis, design or programming and the associated development methodologies with medium size or medium level complexity projects. Prior experience with project planning with medium size or medium level complexity projects. Experience with Connect_Direct processes.
