An Application Support Analyst II has developed knowledge and skills in an application support discipline. (All applications are UNIX based) An Analyst II is able to work with moderate guidance on escalated issues and prioritizes, investigates and resolves them with minimal guidance from others. Analyst II are able to prioritize and organize all escalated issues and assigned tasks to meet agreed upon deadlines. 2-4 years experience required Business systems analytical experience required Experience working in the wireless industry (recommended) Identify sources and trends of technical problems to prevent future occurrences. Participate in system documentation, testing, implementation, maintenance, and project setup/support often involving performing project setups, analyses, and designs. Plan and execute support projects to improve and streamline processes. Assist in determining the impact of operational issues and provide input into their resolution via data extraction and quantification Assess critical path and assist in implementation of any project required by the business Provide 24/7 on call support Interpersonal communication and documentation skills Experience working with Oracle on UNIX using command line and GUI SQL tools preferred; working with UNIX command line required.
