Contract Software Quality Assurance Manager

Arbonne is seeking a Manager of Software Quality Assurance for Contract/Contract to hire role who will direct the activities of the Arbonne International QA team supporting all applications including E-Commerce, ERP and Commission systems. The position will lead a QA organization and be positioned to establish the testing standards for the organization - including test methodology and documentation standards associated with functional and performance testing at the project level. Responsibilities: Manage the Production Support QA team which consists of two QA analysts in Dallas, one in Irvine, and a contract team in Costa Rica and Seattle Manage both Integration Systems Testing as well as User Acceptance Testing which involves at least two releases every month Facilitate partnerships with Release Engineering, Development, IT Operations, Field Development and Marketing on a weekly basis to deliver releases with quality Reviews test approach and plans to ensure the appropriate level of testing for each project Review Business Requirements Documents to understand change or enhancement to application(s)and create test cases to verify requirements are met Oversee, write, and execute automated and manual test cases from the Quality Center test management tool. Record all defects found during the testing of applications and communicate these to developers on a daily basis Provide status of testing activities in Quality Center and Numara Use defect tracking tool to maintain records of all the defects during the testing of their applications and communicate these to developers on a daily basis. Work with Software Development and Business Users to resolve product related defects. Assist in process creation for activities within the QA group as well as software development activities. Ensures appropriate test documentation to meet SOX and PCI requirements Reviews project requirements and test estimates and timeline Coordinates with technical services teams to ensure environments are available consistent with test plans Hires, trains, and coaches QA staff Manages QA staff issues, delegates assignments and monitors progress of test planning and execution Conducts staff performance reviews Requirements include: 2+years leading a small to medium-sized test team 5+ years testing experience Proven ability to coordinate multiple concurrent activities Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and professionally with middle and upper management to discuss project status, issues, and action plans Excellent communication skills and the ability to project manage each release and environment with sound judgment Must maintain high degree of professionalism Ability to demonstrate strong self-initiative, require minimal supervision and maintain a highly motivational and positive attitude Must be flexible to changing environments Highly motivated, demonstrate strong self-initiative, and require minimal supervision Strong interpersonal relationship skills Effective communications skills, both oral and written for technical and non-technical audiences Work experience with a Test Management tool (HP, Rational) including project administration, importing data, requirements, test plans, test labs, defects, graphs, reports, and site administration Some understanding of the process for creation of automated tests based on testing requirements. Scripting experience is a plus Prior testing experience in Windows, Unix, or Oracle environments CSQA certification or equivalent is a plus, but not required Prefer Bachelor's degree, but will accept applicable work experience
