Sales Operations Financial Analyst
Please note this is a 1 year contract position. As a member of the Channel sales team, the Financial Analyst works closely with the Sales Directors to provide up-to-the-minute sales analytics to help manage the team’s selling efforts as well as working directly with the team’s Account Managers to assist in the logistical aspects of tracking and processing orders. This is a fast-paced selling environment that will draw on your excellent communication skills, your ability to multi-task and perform under pressure, your superior data analytics skills and ability to work in a team environment. The successful candidate will possess expert level Excel skills, be very organized, have a ‘can do’ attitude, and have an internal strong sense of urgency. A successful Sales Operations Financial Analyst contributes to the achievement of the Channel sales objectives by: • Working directly with the Channel Sales Directors and Managers to achieve channel partner sales goals by providing timely sales analytics regarding sales trend analysis, pipeline analysis, forecasting and sales attainment. • Preparation of sales analytics in support of the Quarterly Business Review Process • Tracking on a weekly basis all business opportunities which will require channel sales support and monitoring • Participating in weekly, quarterly and annual sales planning by preparing and supporting the delivery of specific sales coverage and forecasting analytics. • Ad Hoc analysis projects on sales activities and channel performance REQUIREMENTS: • University degree in business administration, finance or other analytic field. • 1-2 Years of experience • Prior internship(s) in marketing/sales support roles. • Superior knowledge of MS Excel and data analysis. • Proficient in MS PowerPoint • Good knowledge of standard sales processes and methodologies, specifically as they relate to the software industry and a two tier channel model For consideration please include Dice # 1293.
