Description: Our client is looking to add a Cognos Consultant to their current BI team. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications. Required experience: 5 years of experience with Cognos BI products, and at least 1 year experience with v. 10.1 Cognos Report Studio. Experience with the following features: o report-to-report drill thru o multi-dimensional report authoring o active reports, tabular reports, events, schedule triggers Cognos Business Insight and Business Insight Advanced. Experience with construction of new applications. Cognos Transformer Cognos Mobile Cognos Metrics Server Responsibilities: Complete backlog of enhancement requests to Cognos BI applications, both report requests and Powerplay cube enhancements Convert selected Report Studio reports to active reports Based on specification to be provided, construct, test, and deploy a Business Insight dashboard Build a predetermined set of mobile applications for the Blackberry device Redirect production reports to utilize a SQL Server 2008 replicated database environment in place of an ODBC VMS RDB database environment
