Object Systems International is assisting a well known fortune 100 company in finding a Network Security Analyst as outlined below. This is a full time W-2 (employee) contract position with excellent pay and working conditions, and is located at the client site in Mapelwood, MN. Job Description: Works with client to analyze and define the business process that needs an IT solution. Identifies and documents high-level requirements, maps future state of the solution, and ensures the system/solution meets business and user requirements. * Support the global security environment. * Support firewalls, load balancers, and IDS/IPS devices. * Analyze a diverse range of technical issues across multiple platforms. * Work with a broad range of clients that have little or a broad range of technical skills. * Good project management and cross-functional team skills. * Plan, organize, and establish priorities related to an assignment and the ability to work independently with minimal outside support. * Carry out job responsibilities and handle sensitive information in a confidential nature. * Effective oral and written communication skills. * Responsibile for performance metrics, the determination of client/user satisfaction levels, and the initiation of corrective actions as necessary to ensure continuing quality improvement. Education: * 4 Year Degree (Computer Science/Engineering) preferred. Required Skills/Experience: * 3 - 5 Years configuring, implementing and troubleshooting firewalls, load balancers and IDS/IPS devices. * 2 years supporting routing protocols and network design such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN's etc. * Communicate with management in writing and verbally. * Complex network projects and local area network design. Preferred Skills/Experience: * 1 - 2 years managing projects. * 1 - 2 years designing & configuring networks. * HP Accredited Platform Specialist or Cisco Certified Network Administrator. * Experience with various security vendors. * Visio or comparable tool for documenting network design. * MS Project or comparable tool for managing projects. * Designing local area networks.
