Our Midlands client is looking to recruit Oracle 11g Capacity Planning Consultants/Specialists. The successful Oracle 11g Consultants will be working with an existing capacity planning team. You will provide expertise Oracle 11g capacity planning responsibilities. The client has an Enterprise Oracle database environment which is fed from multiple applications, it is a complex mixed environment with a large Oracle rac cluster. The successful Oracle 11g Capacity Planning Consultants will have the ability to; Understand limitations of the Oracle 11g Database. Analyse, track patterns of data flowing into the data systems. Investigate trends/information, understand the Oracle rac and advise how best to get information out of it. Know where to look for stats, what's happening and why? Understand what is running on the system. Overall you must have an extensive background and the ability in Discovery techniques, Systems Analysis, Capacity Planning. When carrying out the Discovery/Analysis work - the Oracle 11g Consultant/Specialist will liaise with all levels in the business from different applications teams, Infrastructure teams and non technical staff to gather information required to carry out the Oracle 11g Consultancy work. You will also have demonstrable proof of eventually creating hand over documentation, creating processes and procedures for the business to follow. TEKsystems is a division of Allegis Group Ltd.
