Position: Windows 7 Embedded OS System Developer Location: Tucson, AZ (Client will pay for travel expense for out of town candidate) Term: 2+ months contract US Citizenship required Description of Services: Develop an executable that will run on a Secure Pocket Drive (SPD). The program will prompt the end-user to update scheduled patches in the field. Here are some of the specifics: Service registered to run at admin level Code file is protected by SPD hash checks at boot-up Service runs when requested by user to: –Download update packages –Service escalates only when suitable package to load appears on logged in Encrypted Thumb Drive –Service validates the package Write script: –Download script –Change permissions –Lock out user –Verify no connection –Verify script is good –Service loads the package and reboots… Update packages –Updates prepared –Digitally signed –Delivered to release location –Installs as minimal package as possible –Service at user level to determine update is needed Deliverables: Windows 7 Embedded Operating System development Requirements and design documentation Acceptance Criteria: Work will be reviewed by client and accepted or rejected (with comments) within 5 business days.
