My client is looking to bring a in consultant with an option of hiring this person in 4-6 months, but there is a likely hood that they don't exercise the option and the person continues as a consultant longer term. 1. Support for an existing application set which includes the following technologies. a. C++ (meaningful experience, write, not just read) b. Solid query and transactional data analysis skills 2. Given that the above system is in waterline support mode, we’d want this same resource to have other skills that we could employ on a go-forward basis a. Java Services w/solid experience in integration and service-oriented development b. Groovy/Grails a strong plus c. Experience with Transactional Systems d. Strong Oracle fundamentals e. Solution design capability…but not necessarily lead architect…this is a hands-on role f. Experience working with a geographically dispersed team They need someone at the Sr Developer/Tech Lead level,C++ is a key skill, but this is really a Java developer who knows c++, also they are moving to Groovy Grails..so that is a HUGE plus , as no one knows that yet either. Also they are moving to Agile(not required but familiarity is a plus) Transactional systems are key, so is the ability to work with asynchronous applications, systems comprised of workflow and queues . As far as Oracle, they need to have strong SQL analysis skills, Data design skills, and understand how to do integration work using Oracle/SQL, Needs someone who is a self starter with drive & initiative, very adaptable, extroverted, Comfortable leading others,
