Data Integration Programmer ( ETL/Data Automation ) Brooklyn, NY Trigyn's Direct Government Client has a long term contract assignment (10 Months) for a Data Integration Programmer in Brooklyn, NY. Description: The goal of this Open Data (Phase 1) project is to make existing, applicable public data (as defined by Local Law 11 of 2012), currently available via the clients web site, available through a centrally managed Open Data portal before March 7, 2013. The Senior Programmer for Integrations will be responsible for the following: Designing and building the integrations of the various technologies and data systems for all qualifying first-year datasets Working closely with the Technical Project Manager/Technical Lead to ensure that all programmatic decisions are achievable with the technologies being deployed in support of the client Open Data project Implementing automation tools to move data from backend systems to the Open Data portal, performing Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) functions, automation of tool and open data platform, implementing data migration at a per Agency level, providing technical assistance for existing datasets Communicating with Agency technical staff to verify functionality Providing leadership and guidance to team of programmers/technical resources to ensure delivery expectations are met Deliverables: Configuration and documentation of client-managed middleware technologies that will integrate Agencies data systems for all qualifying first-year datasets with the Open Data web portal MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.
