Our client, located in West Orange, New Jersey, is seeking a Data Center Support Technician. This is a 2nd Shift position; Tuesday- Saturday 4-12pm Qualifications: 5+ years general IT experience in a multi-platform Data Center environment 1-2 years Windows, UNIX and/or network experience Flexible to work alternate shifts and to provide extended shift coverage as required Strong communication and technical writing skills Ability to work independently Co-operative Team Player Disaster Recovery and Data Center infrastructure experience preferred Familiarity with Avocent and Aperture a plus Some physical work is required -- lifting up to 40 lbs, working with tools, bending) College degree preferably a BA/BS with computer science or equivalent experience
