JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Market and trend research • Responsible for managing the design process from conception    through production • Designing small leather goods and handbags as well as leather    cases, sleeves, and laptop bags • Preparation of presentation boards • Participation in sourcing raw-materials • Communicate with factories and follow through the design    process • Communicate with licensing partners and designers • Preparation of technical packages including specs and    corresponding details • Cross-function with production team throughout the development    process, and review pre-production samples REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES • Minimum 3 years of experience in SLG and/or handbag design • Ability to create both men’s and women’s fashion lines • Thorough knowledge of raw materials, as well as construction    techniques • Degree in fashion/accessories design or related field • Strong sense of design, color, attention to detail, and    knowledge of construction of handbags • Strong ability to free-hand sketch • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Excellent computer skills including Adobe Illustrator and    Photoshop • Must have excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
