Windows NT Administrator
Act as a member of client's Global Infrastructure – Foundation Delivery team as a senior-level Windows System Administrator. The main functions of this position will involve installation and configuration of enterprise servers at remote site locations. This position requires a high degree of teamwork and interaction with client's regional offices around the globe. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude and a desire to engage in identifying and implementing efficient solutions for remote site deployment. They will need to be an energetic, self motivated individual who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Responsible for provided cost estimates for hardware and labor on a per project basis. Coordination of server installation at remote locations. Build servers to include OS installation, applying security and corporate standards, backup configuration and asset management recording. Automation of common server build task using BMC Blade technology. Required Skills & Experience 3-5 years of relevant experience. BA or BS degree is preferred. Solid understanding of standard server, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and Internet fundamentals. Demonstrated technical proficiency and in depth knowledge of Windows Operating System configuration and installation. The candidate should be able to troubleshoot all aspects of server management effectively Extensive experience with engineering and supporting enterprise servers. Experience in other Microsoft Management technologies, including Active Directory services (AD), is desired.
