Job Requirements: • Create final copy for client's user interface and emails, including in-flow help and other messaging. You will write, edit, and proofread this copy, which the designer incorporates into mockups to give to the product manager for use by engineering and QA. • Provide guidance and input into content created by the client's Customer Support content team, including help pages, emails, articles, and automated customer support scripts. • Create or co-create design briefs, which outline the desired outcomes, key messages, voice attributes, and audience for your content. These are based on site needs, business objectives, and product knowledge. • Suggest revisions to client style guide. • Develop visualization of user experience strategy and next generation products. Must have strong concepting and ideation skills. • Partner with a wide range of stakeholders from concept to creation, including product managers, marketing, user research, developers, and testing. Qualifications: • 8+ years professional related work experience. • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Samples required. • Working knowledge of user-centered design processes, information architecture, and best practices in content management. • Fluency in American English, expertise in tailoring content to appropriate audience segments, and experience creating or contributing to voice and style guides. • An ability to seek out and collaborate with owners of related content to ensure a consistent user experience. • Experience with ecommerce and customer support content a plus. • BS/BA or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, or other relevant field.
