CONSULTANT WILL HAVE TO BE BASED IN CHINA FOR THE DURATION OF THE PROJECT. Requirements: Industry domain knowledge of Consumer Electronic Industry globally, and specifically in China 10+ years’ work in professional services and/or consulting in After Market services, including significant client facing roles Expertise in Service lifecycle management (Service Strategy, Service Operations, Service Planning) Proven track record implementing continuous improvement programs Development, implementation, management, operation and administration of several extensive Multi-million dollar projects, preferably in Consumer Electronics Industry space Must be very "hands on" and demonstrate leadership by example. Proficient at developing and articulating logical solutions to business challenges Should have played key roles within manufacturing and Consumer Electronics industries, as well as IT and outsourcing as a consultant, specializing in aftermarket services Experienced in the after sales support and reverse logistics sector, having led projects to maximize service revenue and reduction in service costs through expertise in repair & return processes and applications MBA, advanced management degree, or equivalent qualification Responsibilities: Be part of a major re-engineering project in China to streamline business processes of After Market Service to include Spare Parts, Service Network Management, Warranty etc. in Consumer Electronics Industry Develop Process frameworks and streamline and standardize the processes for Call Center, Service Network, Spare Parts, Product Return and Quality Improvement Design the process for knowledge management/technical support focusing on L1/L2/L3 technical support and enabling technicians to know the fixes delivered in past for recurring problems Provide customized, business-focused consulting and strategy development assistance to the client Project managing client engagement, including managing diverse streams of work and small project teams Conduct research, analysis, and financial modeling and overseeing research for the client engagement Develop and implement organization-wide strategies, prioritizing organizational efforts and resources toward activities that are critical to the Organization's mission, vision, and strategic priorities Provide technical and domain expertise in key business areas such as Service Network Management, Spare Parts, Warranty, Field Service etc. in Consumer Electronics Industry Develop/Design a quality improvement process/model and reporting mechanism to focus on breaking down quality KPI’s and developing preventive and control model for new product quality management Establish processes for vendor selection on boarding, managing service requests, performance measurement, vendor contract management, order management, AR/AP etc. IF THIS POSITION IS OF INTEREST TO YOU, KINDLY WRITE TO - JAY SWAMY / EMAIL: JAY.SWAMY@CONNECTUPLLC.COM / PHONE: 770-714-7616
