Our client, a Fortune 500 Company, is currently seeking a Senior Technical Project/Program Manager in their Alpharetta office. This individual will be responsible for establishing, planning and administering the overall policies and goals for the information technology department. In addition, they will be responsible for analyzing the needs of departments and establishing priorities for feasibility studies, systems design and implementation to develop new and/or modify the company's information processing systems. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a related area with at least 8 years of experience in the field and will generally manages a group of exempt and nonexempt employees, and consultants. - Build team and leads a group of consultants to develop an Intelligence system using IBM Cognos - Involve in Architecture and Design discussions, and lead the team to deliver on the commitments with quality - Builds the project plans for development and testing - Works closely with other teams to align the deliverables and tracks them on a regular basis Required Skills/Experience - Strong experience in leading high performing Java development teams is required - Hands on Java development skills - Prior experience and/or strong domain knowledge of HRMS
