My client is a well-established bank, situated in Mount Laurel, NJ/ Lexington, SC/ Falmouth, ME They are looking for a Program Manager ( Demand/Resource/Schedule Management) This is a 3 Months contract with the possibility of extension. Job Description: As the USTS project portfolio continues to expand, the maturation of current Demand, Resource and Master Schedule management practices must also expand and evolve. Currently all USTS project resource management, demand management and master schedule creation is being conducted via disparate spreadsheets and managed as an additional duty. With increased emphasis on improved project delivery, forecasting, planning, and budgets there is an immediate need to engage a resource to manage this at a US TS enterprise level. The position is responsible for •Demand Planning and Forecasting •Demand Intake •Demand Management •Resource (Workforce) Management •Relationship Management •Reporting •Financial Management •Master Schedule Creation and Management Works in a collaborative fashion with all IT and business partners to deliver technology solutions that allow the Bank, to be the better bank in every market in which it competes. Performs analysis as needed to identify cost saves and ensure partners (i.e. Finance, SSG, etc.) are involved as necessary to gain enterprise wide savings Continuously seeks and implements initiatives and work flows to reduce expense and/or add value Key Accountabilities: •Provide US TS leadership with an annual fiscal plan for US TS resources in both # and cost of resources required for both Support and Project Delivery activities. •Provide the analysis and reporting metrics to assess performance against the plan oReconcile and track project resource levels against available/approved funding – both FTE and Contractor oReconcile and track Support resource levels against approved funding – both FTE and Contractor oProduce trend information for internal and external use oMonitor and report the capacity allocated to different types of demands over time oCompare capacity allocation to contractual, negotiated, and budgetary constraints oPursue a more detailed analysis of the variance causes to facilitate learning and control improvement oProvide insight (based on analysis) into environmental factors that affect demand/capacity flexibility and control •Provide US TS Managers with sufficient visibility to future demand, by role, to enable timely decisions for: oApproving and scheduling new projects oIdentifying and addressing gaps between demand and supply and adjusting up or oIdentifying and addressing specific over-allocated individuals •Improve utilization of resources oLeverage existing availability of fungible resources across functional groups oReduce required staffing levels and costs to execute Support and Projects Delivery services •Manage and maintain Master Delivery Schedule for BANK’S Bank project portfolio oCoordinate with IPMO, US TS Service Delivery Groups, Test Environment Management and Release Management groups •Work with Process Services Leadership to design an efficient process that provides full value with minimal incremental effort •Align frequency of forecasting with decision horizons Job Description: •Demand Planning and Forecasting: oDevelop and maintain Demand Pipeline plan for US TS; works with Service Delivery groups to update with latest view oConduct planning sessions with the Service Delivery groups to identify a demand profile to develop the capacity plan oWork with the Resource Management Analyst, Service Delivery IT Managers, Program Managers and the Portfolio Manager to develop long-term capacity for a twelve-month period, revised as required, for current and future demand for services based on Demand Pipeline plan oPlan and execute detailed demand Pipeline and short-term capacity for a two to three month period revised as needed for all incoming work oVerify the capacity available to support projects matches the evolving demands of the business in the most effective and time efficient manner •Demand Intake oAssume responsibility for the overall management of definition, measurement, and centralized processing of the Service Delivery groups demand requests oManage the US TS Intake Process to defined metrics oSchedule Intake Review session with US TS, ITS, Finance, and DCTS representatives oWork with US TS Program Managers and IT Managers to finalize intake documentation requirements oSend Approved Intake Request Forms to the Demand Planning and Management Process oReceive Change Requests for existing demand and Approved Intake Request Forms •Demand Management oWork closely with the Program Managers, Senior IT Managers, Portfolio Managers and Project Managers to coordinate and respond to all request types, ensuring the long-term capacity planning aligns with the short-term capacity planning and execution oWork with Resource Management Analyst and the Portfolio Manager to manage utilization, and identify stafing changes and project time frames to allow adjustments in resources and projects priorities as required oCoordinate with the Portfolio Reporting Analyst, Portfolio Managers, Program Mangers and Senior IT Manager to track and monitor ongoing priorities in a given capability area, for both the development of new capabilities and to enhance existing capabilities and total budgets allocated for maintenance oWork with the Portfolio Manager, Resource Management Analyst, and Service Delivery Group reps prepare Delivery and Resource Scenarios for presentation to US TS Management. oParticipate with support from the Portfolio Manager and the Resource Management Analyst in the creation of he Demand Plan and Delivery Scenarios inclusive of options comparison and recommendations oReceive Approved Demand Plan for implementation oEnsure use of the correct processes, and recommends the actions necessary to respond to problems to improve process compliance and/or improve demand management service oCoordinate with the Finance Manager to properly classify a project for financial treatment •Workforce Management: oCoordinate with the Resource Management Analyst to monitor resource capacity utilization, makes decisions, and implements those decisions to balance supply and demand at the gross level oCoordinate with the Resource Management Analyst to develop, update, and maintain the capacity plan and the staffing plan to balance supply and demand oCoordinate with Resource Management Analyst to analyze resource capacity utilization and supports identification of actions to implement (e.g., loan and borrow resources across teams to meet deadlines and balance resource workloads within the organization) •Relationship Management: oProvide a single point of contact for all demand requests oEnsure the Service Delivery Group’s leadership authorizes all work activities oSupport reviews and approvals of estimates prior to presentation to the Program Manager and US TS Leadership oDevelop and maintain solid Service Delivery group relationships oEnsure partner satisfaction by communicating with them in a timely manner regarding project opportunities and statuses;
