6 month plus contract for a Sr. Test Analyst. This position is responsible for analysing business and technical requirements, developing test plans, and test execution (functional, integration testing, regression testing, performance load/stress testing, and user acceptance testing). The Test Analyst supports the testing process by: Participating in the requirements process to ensure resulting requirements are complete, testable and address the project requirements. Writing and maintaining manual test cases. Creating and maintaining test data. Participating in requirements/design reviews Creating defects when anomalies are identified. Providing status for all test efforts. 45% Test Planning 45% Testing Execution 10% Test Management Support 7 experience in software quality assurance/testing experience with BS Degree in IT Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies for a software testing environment. Works well in a team environment and alone. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong ability to multi-task Understands functional specifications Ability to effectively articulate technical issues to testers, developers, and managers. Experienced with SDLC, all test phases, quality standards, practices and test methodologies. Must possess strong experience with Test Tools (eg Mercury Interactive Quality Center/TestDirector, Quick Test Pro, WinRunner, LoadRunner etc). Local Candidates preferred. Must be able to work W-2 Hourly only, No corp to corps allowed. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
