We are a yarn store based in California, and currently sell via our physical store, on our own ecommerce site, and have recently begun selling on Amazon Marketplace and Amazon Webstore. We have uploaded a few products to Amazon, and now need to add 100+ Parent items with varying number of base products. We are looking for someone with experience in the Amazon Marketplace to add these products, with their descriptions and images in the most efficient way possible. The way we have been working is to export the product information to a CSV file, then using that information create an excel spreadsheet- sourcing additional description information as required, then saving it as a CSV again and uploading it to amazon, then correcting any errors, and adding pictures via the Amazon Seller Central interface. This method is proving incredibly inefficient and we are looking for someone with the knowledge and experience to do this much faster, and hopefully automate it. We will also need a bit of website design- mainly just laying out the header and navigation buttons. If you are interested please send us a proposal outlining how you will fulfill the task, and 2 references for similar work you have done. ------------------------------------------ Added 6 JUL 2012, 4:47 AM EDT We can supply most of the product data in CSV format (we may be able to supply it in a different format if that is more convenient for you-and if our systems allow), the product images will be provided in a folder, the item description will need to be copied and pasted from our ecommerce site (our software does not allow us the export this information in the CSV file) the product name will also need to be updated the way it currently exports is in a coded shorthand example: HOMESPUN-LB-PURPLE, but will need to be changed to be more shopper friendly example: Homespun Yarn by Lion Brand (Purple). Also some of the products are 'private_label'- meaning they do not have a sku so you would be responsible for ensuring they get approved and show up on Amazon Marketplace. We have we have 131 products to add onto Amazon.com and Amazon Marketplace Each of the products varies either in size or color. (example: the yarn will vary in color, the knitting needles will vary in size) Our product category is Home and Garden If you know the fastest way to do this then get in touch, I think CSV files are quite slow, can it be done with a XML feed?
