Head of Physical Security / Security Consultant Keywords : security, anti-terrorism, counter-terrorism, counter-extremism, post room, mail room, reception, loss prevention This is an exceptional opportunity as this role represents one of the most important roles within the EMEA region for a major global financial institution. This role will involve looking after 4 main areas : 1) Security operations in the EMEA region 2) The mail room 3) Reception 4) Managing the relationship with the company who have the "man guarding" contract with the company and managing the staff that work in these areas. This applies to all the organisation's offices in the EMEA region. You will need the following to be considered for this role : A formal physical security background ideally looking after at least one major corporate in the past. A good understanding of the current HMG Government Security framework, national counter-terrorism/extremism strategies, protective security practices, threat and response levels and current physical security standards (including security grading criterion); A good working knowledge of emergency and resilience standards/frameworks and experience of the development of effects led security operational plans; A good knowledge of loss prevention standards and strategies is essential. An ex-armed forces . defence sector background would be desirable but not essential.
